The Zehri tribe has a very long history, the chief of the Zehri tribe is considered the chief of all the tribes living in the Jahalwan region. The Sardar of Zehri tribe is Sardar Sanaullah Zehri son of Nawab Doda Khan Zehri. The Zehris had played a vital role in the history of the Baloch state of Kalat.
