From 1993 until 1995, the Dutch professional cycling team previously known as Buckler and currently still active as Rabobank was sponsored by WordPerfect , a word processing application from the American company Corel , and Novell , an American software corporation which bougth WordPerfect in 1994.
The team's managers were Jan Raas , Hilaire Van der Schueren , and 1980 Tour de France -winner Joop Zoetemelk . Co-sponsors during these three years were Colnago and Decca . In these years, later Rabobank leaders such as Michael Boogerd and Erik Dekker made their professional debut.

Victories
Tour de France
The team had a dissapointing Tour de France. The only top ten finish was from Viatcheslav Ekimov , 7th in the final stage to the Champs Elysées . With a 36th place, he was also the best in the Final General Classification. Four riders (Maassen, Van Bon, Van Hooydonck and Van Lancker) did not make to Paris. The others (Dekker, Kvalsvoll, Mulders and Wauters) ended up in the lower regions of the classification.

Michael Blaudzun , John den Braber and Wim Vansevenant joined the team as trainees on September 1st.
1995
Novell , which sponsored a Dutch cycling team in 1993 and 1994 under the name of their brand WordPerfect , became the title sponsor itself for the 1995 season. This team became the now famous Rabobank -team in 1996.

Tour de France
Viatcheslav Ekimov ended 18th in the General classification of the 1995 Tour de France . With three third places, one second place and the stage win at the Champs Elysées , Djamolidine Abdoujaparov was the most successful rider of the team. He finished second in the Points classifications .
