- List of characters in The Nightmare Before Christmas (|talk|history|links|watch|logs)
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of characters in The Nightmare Before Christmas
- This article lists characters seen in the films and video games The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Pumpkin King, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge. -- Banjeboi 19:35, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- So far rationales for deletion are blatantly false, one claims that such characters as Jack Skellington are "not notable", another that it is a list of characters that only appear in a single film (they appear in several video games and as numerous toys), another that it is unsourced even though it has several sources, another that it somehow fails plot even though it has an out of universe section on marketing and out of universe sentences on voice actors/actresses, another that this information referenced by secondary sources is somehow original research, and finally that it is "unnecessary" which is about as subjective of a claim as we can get. Seriously, I am officially baffled. In any event, I am not sure what else needs to be done to address false/inaccurate/misleading critcisms, but if anyone can help further with improving the article, it is of course appreciated. --A NobodyMy talk 05:28, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- Follow this link and input each character's name in turn. Add one or two of the best sources for each character. This should help demonstrate that the characters are notable and covered in multiple published books. -- Banjeboi 19:35, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
