Varliq is a bilingual quarterly magazine in Persian and Azari Turki published in Tehran under Prof. Javad Heyat since 1979. Its main focus is on Turkic languages spoken in Iran, such as Azari, Turkmen, Qashqai, Khorasan, Sonqor, Faridan and Abivard dialects.

The magazine, in addition to research areas in Turkology focuses on written Turkic literature in Iran and its alphabet, strengthening cultural links between Iranian, Azari and Turkish people and promoting Turkic speaking people of Iran issues in academic circles such as conferences and seminars.
