VH1 Brazil is a music channel from Viacom-owned MTV Networks Latin America. The network was launched in November 2005 on some cable systems, but it wasn't until May 2006 that it was launched on DirecTV Brazil, replacing MTV Latin America.
Unlike MTV Brasil, and like its sister Nickelodeon, VH1 is wholly owned by MTV Networks Latin America, and available exclusively on cable and satellite systems.
VH1 Brazil replaced VH1 Soul on SKY Brazil, where it was available in the country since 2004.
In 2007 VH1 Brazil released its broadband channel called VSPOT.
