The U.S. House election, 1812 was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1812.

Although the Democratic-Republicans retained control of Congress and James Madison was reelected as president, the unpopularity of the War of 1812 in New England caused the Federalists to pick up many seats in this region. However, the large number of new seats that were awarded to western regions somewhat offset the Federalist gains, as these districts overwhelmingly voted for Democratic-Republicans.
