Tim Squyres (born in 1959) is an American film editor. He has had an extensive collaboration with the renowned Taiwanese director Ang Lee. He has edited Lee's most famous films: The Wedding Banquet (1993), Eat Drink Man Woman (1994), Sense and Sensibility (1995), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), Hulk (2003) and, most recently, Lust, Caution (2007). His work in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) earned him an Academy Award nomination for Film Editing. Squyres is the brother of Steve Squyres, professor of astronomy at Cornell University. Both brothers attended Cornell after attending Gateway Regional High School in New Jersey.
Squyres has been elected to membership in the American Cinema Editors.[1]
