Skierbieszów [skʲɛrˈbʲɛʂuf] is a village in Zamość County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Skierbieszów. It lies on the river Wolica, approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-east of Zamość and 71 km (44 mi) south-east of the regional capital Lublin.1 The village has a population of 1,317. There is a castle in the village.

The Polish inhabitants of Skierbieszów were expelled in November 1942 to make room for German settlers. The village was renamed Heidenstein until the occupation of the region by Soviet forces in 1944.
