Skøyen is a railway station located in Oslo, Norway and is part of Drammenbanen. The station serves commuter trains, some regional trains and the Airport Express Train (Flytoget). Skøyen is owned and operated by Jernbaneverket.

Though some continue on, the station is the terminus for several commuter trains in the Oslo area. In addition some of the regional trains on Vestfoldbanen stop at the station. The next stop westwards is Lysaker and eastward Nationaltheatret. The Norwegian Space Centre can be reached from this station.

History

The station was originally built in 1872 when Drammenbanen opened. Skøyen became an important station when Oslotunnelen, a railway tunnel under Oslo, was opened in 1980, as it became the only train station in Western Oslo. It has been rebuilt several times and in 1998 it was converted to four tracks when the new Airport Express services opened.
