Simon Rix

James Simon Rix (born 18th October 1977, Leeds, West Yorkshire) is the bass player for popular British band Kaiser Chiefs and is famous for his large curly hair which has led to the nickname 'Jesus' by fans and 'curly wand' amongst friends.^{citation needed} He is a supporter of Leeds United along with other members of the band. He went to school at St. Mary's School, Menston, leeds with Nick Hodgson and Nick 'Peanut' Baines, who are also members of Kaiser Chiefs.

He also read maths and geography at Leeds University. Is a vegetarian.^[1]
