Sergey Popov (born September 21, 1930 in Irkutsk) is a retired marathon runner from the Soviet Union, who won the gold medal at the European Championships in Stockholm, Sweden. He did so in a new world record time of 2:15:17. Popov is a three-time winner of the Soviet national marathon title (1957-1959).
