Serbian First League or Prva Liga Srbija (Serbian: Прва Лига Србија) is the name for the second tier in Serbia's football league. The league is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. 18 teams are set to compete in this league for the 2008-2009 season.
It often refer as Prva Liga Telekom Srbija(Serbian: Прва Лига Телеком Србија) , named after the main sponsor of the league, Telekom Srbija.
The league was formed to replace the old second division for the new state union of Serbia and Montenegro, where Montenegro have their own Prva Liga both serve as second level. But after Montenegrin independence referendum, 2006 the Serbian First League was the only group of second level.
