Sense and Sensibilia (or On Sense and the Sensible, On sense and what is sensed, On sense perception, or De Sensu et Sensibilibus) is a text by Aristotle, written about 350 B.C.E.
The phrase was alluded to by Jane Austen in her novel Sense and Sensibility, and by J. L. Austin in his own Sense and Sensibilia.
A book of the same title was also written by Averroes, as a commentary on the original text (in Arabic, "al-'Aql wa 'l-ma'qul").
Thomas Aquinas also wrote a commentary on the text.
