Sedbury is a village in the Forest of Dean district of west Gloucestershire, England.

It is on the eastern bank of the River Wye, facing the Welsh town of Chepstow. The village is in the parish of Tidenham.

Historically Sedbury sits alongside the southern end of Offa's Dyke a defensive ditch and dyke built by Anglo Saxon King Offa of Mercia to mark the border with Wales.

Sedbury is the location of Wyedean Comprehensive School, one of the schools attended by author JK Rowling and Offa's Mead Primary School.

Sedbury is the beginning of a famous Offa's Dyke Path a waymarked long-distance footpath and National Trailstretching the length of the border of Wales between Chepstow in South Wales and Prestatyn in North Wales.
