Sean Considine (born October 28, 1981) is an American football safety in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is a third-year player out of the University of Iowa. Considine was a walk-on starter who worked his way up to an honorable mention in the All-Big Ten team his senior year.

Considine spent the early part of his 2005 rookie season working on special teams but suffered a shoulder injury and went down for the rest of the season. However, he received a chance to start in 2006 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after Michael Lewis was demoted. He has remained as the starter at strong safety. His first career interception was a pick of Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Schaub.

He had a son, Caden James Considine, born September 3, 2007.citation needed
