Sasakwa is a town in Seminole County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 150 at the 2000 census.

The racial makeup of the town was 61.33% White, 1.33% African American, 28.67% Native American, and 8.67% from two or more races. There were 58 households out of which 27.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.3% were married couples living together, 19.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.6% were non-families. 25.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.59 and the average family size was 3.02. In the town the population was spread out with 30.7% under the age of 18, 9.3% from 18 to 24, 22.7% from 25 to 44, 20.7% from 45 to 64, and 16.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 74.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79.3 males. The median income for a household in the town was $20,750, and the median income for a family was $24,286. Males had a median income of $23,750 versus $13,542 for females. The per capita income for the town was $9,353. There were 19.6% of families and 24.3% of the population living below the poverty line, including 33.3% of under eighteens and 32.1% of those over 64.
