Sarah Lee Brown Fleming (1875-1963) was an African American educator, social and community activist and the first African American teacher in the Brooklyn school system.

Her most notable published work is the novel Hope's Highway (1918). It is a tale of racial uplift in which education and integrity persevere over racism and despair.
