This article is about the fictional television character Sara Holt. For the victim of the 2003 Georgia DUI commercial truck wreck, see Georgia State Route 20.
Sara was a young African-American attorney at Crane, Poole & Schmidt. Sara and fellow associate Garrett Wells were often the flunkies of Denise Bauer. Sara once conspired with Garrett to seduce the attorney of Denise's husband during their divorce settlement. The attorney was also a priest. Sara pretended to "come on" the priest saying she had a fetish for men of the cloth in an attempt to get him to accept a lower dollar amount in the settlement dispute. Sara and Garrett then blackmailed, by threatening to tell his church, the priest/lawyer after he made sexual advances towards her thinking the "come on" was real. It worked as he got Denise's husband to accept the lower offer. However, in the next episode the priest shows up in Sara's office saying now he's going to turn her in to her bosses for her unethical behavior. She begs him not to and he offers her a way out saying she must go to the ladies room, remove her panties and give them to him! She refuses, he tells her to think on it and he'll be back tomorrow for her answer. After he leaves, she goes to Garrett's office to tell him the situation and he says she should give the priest her panties, they argue during which she finally yells "I can't", Garrett asks why not and she replies "I'm not wearing any!"
Sara and Garrett disappear from the show during season 2 with no explanation within the show.
