Sara Driver is an independent filmmaker. She was born in Westfield, New Jersey on 15 December 1955. She is the wife of film director Jim Jarmusch. She was educated at the American Institute of Classical Studies, Athens, Greece and at New York University's school of film. Driver was a juror at the Miami International Film Festival in 2005. Film careerDriver made her directorial debut with a short movie entitled You Are Not I which was co-written by Jim Jarmusch in 1981. She directed her first feature length movie Sleepwalk in 1986. She also directed the "Bed and Boar" episode of the TV series Monsters which was released in 1990. Her most recent movie was When Pigs Fly in 1993. She has many production credits on the films of Jim Jarmusch including his second movie Stranger Than Paradise and she had minor roles in three of his films. Filmography
