Coordinates: 09°22′40″S 37°14′42″W / -9.37778, -37.245 Santana do Ipanema is a city and a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Alagoas. It is situated at the edge of Ipanema river.

Its population was 44,866 (2005) and its area is 438 km²¹. It was founded in 1875.
