Ruma (Bengali: রুমা) is an Upazila of Bandarban District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Ruma is located at 22.0500° N 92.4167° E . It has 3650 units of house hold and total area 492.1 km².

Demographics

As of 1991 Bangladesh censusGR error: 1=Bangladeh, Ruma has a population of 19001. Males constitute are 54.27% of the population, and females 45.73%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 10144. Ruma has an average literacy rate of 27.8% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[1]
