Romainmôtier-Envy is a municipality in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland , located in the district of Orbe .
The village lies on the Nozon river and has about 450 inhabitants. The town has a famous Romanesque church . The monastery of Romainmôtier (Romanum monasterium ) was founded by Romanus of Condat , after whom it was named.[1]
The municipality was created in 1970 by a merger of Romainmôtier and Envy .
