Richard Wright Nowels (born March 16, 1954 in Palo Alto, California)[1] is a record producer and Grammy Award/Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriter who is known for his work with Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Dido, New Radicals, Stevie Nicks, Belinda Carlisle, Darren Hayes, Sonique, Jewel, Ronan Keating, Robert Miles, Tupac Shakur, k.d. lang, Joss Stone, Melanie C, All Saints, Craig David, Santana, John Legend, Leigh Nash and many others.
Since 1987, Nowels has produced and/or co-written over 50 top ten singles in the U.S and Europe. His biggest hits include:
