Poolsche Hoed

Poolsche Hoed (Dutch: "Polish Hat") was a small rocky islet between Krakatoa and Lang Island. It disappeared in the 1883 eruption of Krakatoa.
The name is apparently derived from its appearance from the sea: a sharply-angled point, similar to the old-styled caps worn by Poles.
