The Organisation pour la mise en valeur du fleuve Sénégal (OMVS) is an organisation founded in 1972 by Mali, Mauritania and Senegal to manage the Senegal River and its river basin. Its aims are to promote self-sufficiency in food, to improve the income of the local populations, and to preserve the natural ecosystems.

Guinea joined the organisation in 1972.
