Officer Candidate Course (OCC) is a 10-week training program at the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School, located at the Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia. OCC and the Platoon Leaders Class are the principal means through which college seniors and recent graduates become Marine Corps officers. While the curriculum is identical to the 10-week PLC-Combined session, OCC is held three times a year (Winter, Summer, and Fall), and accepts only college graduates.

The Marine Corps provides travel costs, meals, textbooks, uniforms and lodging. Also, OCC students are paid for their time. Officer candidates are commissioned second lieutenants upon graduation and are then assigned to The Basic School at Quantico for six months of officer training.

There are three OCC classes per year beginning in January, June, & October. A schedule of classes can be found on the Marine OCS website.

Information and application to Officer Candidates Class is done through Marine Officer Selection Officers or OSO's. OSO information can be found at marineofficer.com.
