Ockbrook School is an Independent School located in the village of Ockbrook on the outskirts of Derby. The school now admits only day pupils although, until very recently, it also provided boarding facilities.
The school is for girls aged 3-18 and boys aged 3-11, being made up of a Nursery, Primary Department, Senior Department and Sixth Form. Pupils are mainly admitted at the ages of 3, 5, 11 and 16. Prospective pupils ages 11-16 are required to sit an entrance exam.

The school has a heated indoor swimming pool which is claimed to be the oldest in England still in use at a school.
