Oceanside High School is one of three high schools of the Oceanside Unified School District, located in Oceanside, California.

The high school also maintains a close athletic rivalry with El Camino High School.

The school mascot is the Pirate.

Football

Oceanside High School's football team is ranked 1st in division 2 south. The Pirates have won four consecutive CIF championships in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 led by Coach John Caroll. Following their 2007 CIF section title win, word was released that Oceanside qualified for the State Bowl. The game was played at the Home Depot Center in Carson,CA where Oceanside defeated Novato of Marin County 28-14 and became the first San Diego County team to ever appear in and win a state championship. The 2008 Oceanside Pirates hold a 9-0-1 record heading into San Diego Section CIF DIV 2 playoffs. They are currently ranked #1 in San Diego Section(NCTimes/S.D Union Tribune), #4 in California(CalHiSports), #23 nationally (USA Today) & #37 by ESPN RISE FAB 50.
