Nunney (grid reference ST736455) is a village near Frome in the Mendip local government district within the English county of Somerset. It has a long history and has become something of a tourist attraction due to the ruins of Nunney Castle, an historic church, and ducks wandering the streets near the river. The village hall is host to the unusual Nunney Jazz Cafe, acclaimed for its unique ambience, high quality of music, and blend of jazz with poetry and art.

On 30 September 2007, Nunney was the subject of a BBC Radio 4 report, asking whether "the prettiest village in England" is a place where we can learn "how to mend our broken society".report, excerpted from BBC Radio 4 podcast.

All Saints' Church, Nunney

The Church of All Saints is a Grade I listed building dating from the 12th century. Church of All Saints at Images of England

Market Cross

The market cross across the road from the church is Grade II* listed. It was originally built around 1100, and rebuilt on its present site in 1959. It originally stood in the churchyard of All Saints' Church.(Market Cross at Images of England

George Inn

The George Inn, next to the church dates from the mid 18th century. A steel beam carries the pub sign across the road in a modern imitation of the traditional arrangement. It is a Grade II listed building. George Inn at Images of England
