The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is split into four regions:

• Region I, headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, oversees the north-eastern United States.
• Region II, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, oversees the south-eastern United States.
• Region III, headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, oversees the northern mid-western United States
• Region IV, headquartered in Arlington, Texas, oversees the southern midwestern and the western United States.

Region II consists of 19 nuclear power plants.

• Browns Ferry Nuclear Power Plant near Decatur and Athens
• Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Generating Station near Dothan

Florida

• Crystal River 3 Nuclear Generating Station near Crystal River

Georgia
