Nox is a fictional character appearing in the Marvel Comicsuniverse, based loosely on the Nyx of Greek mythology. She is the Olympian Goddess of the Night (possibly degenerated into a demon), one of the Fear Lords, who has clashed with Doctor Strange. She seduced her fellow Olympian, Ares, the Olympian God of War, by posing as Aphrodite a.k.a. Venus, the Olympian Goddess of Love, in order to trick him into giving her sons: Phobos, the Olympian God of Fear, and Deimos, the Olympian God of Terror.
