Notre Dame High School (NDHS) in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California, is a co-edCatholic college preparatory high school founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1947. Located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Notre Dame is known for an outstanding college-prep academic program, championship athletics, and award winning fine arts program. NDHS has been honored by the United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon Schools Program, and is especially known for its academic program, band, and football team. Its newspaper is The Knight, a member of the High School National Ad Network. Notre Dame was founded as an all-male school, and became a co-educational school in 1985. The school colors are blue and gold and the teams are called the Knights.
Notre Dame is famous for its Irish Knight Marching Band. The band, led by director John Combes, has performed in over 450 consecutive football games and has won several awards at prestigious band reviews. This is the oldest extracurricular activity on campus. For many years, the NDHS Irish Knight Band supported the University of Notre Dame by performing at football games when the Fighting Irish were in Los Angeles to play USC.

Matt Cline - Winemaker; Matt Cline was the original winemaker and creative director at Cline Cellars. Over the course of his 16-year career, Matt was responsible for branding Cline Cellars’ unique style of winemaking. Cline Cellars’ wines have won countless awards including the 1998 Sonoma County Harvest Fair Sweepstakes Award for the 1996 Syrah Los Carneros, selected from among 587 wines.

Donahue- Mr. Donahue was recognized as one of the shopping center industry's most respected leaders serving as a member of the Board of Trustees and past Chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centers, which represents 35,000 shopping center professionals worldwide. In its 33-year history under Mr. Donahue's leadership, Donahue Schriber garnered a reputation for the vision and quality of its development and redevelopment projects including Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California; Fashion Island in Newport Beach, California; The Market Place (formerly Tustin Market Place) in Tustin, California; Galleria at Tyler in Riverside, California; and numerous other major shopping centers throughout California. Chairman of Hanna Ventures, Hanna is known for his success investing in early stage technology companies
James H. Herndon - On the morning of February 7, 2003, Dr. James H. Herndon gave his Presidential address before the largest and most influential orthopaedic surgery organization in the world. Reflected in his comments that morning, and in his subsequent efforts, the goal was clear, to chart the course of that organization in a new direction.
Dennis Zine - Los Angeles City Councilman. Zine represents the city's 3rd District (Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Reseda, West Hills, Winnetka and Canoga Park).
