Not Back To School Camp is a summer camp created by Grace Llewellyn, the author of The Teenage Liberation Handbook. Llewellyn founded the camp in 1996 to provide a place for homeschoolers and unschoolers aged thirteen through eighteen to meet and hang out. As of 2009 there are four sessions: two in Plymouth, Vermont at the Farm and Wilderness Camps, and two outside of Bridge, Oregon at Camp Myrtlewood.

Camp regime

Like the lives of unschoolers, the activities (known as workshops) are created by the unschoolers themselves. They range from youth rights discussions to dancing to martial arts to writing to meditation.

It is a very loose environment. Campers choose what to do with their days, their own bedtimes, etc. The only required moments of the day are check-in/meeting every morning and evening.
