A general election to the Storting, the parliament of Norway, was held on 11 September 1989.

¹This seat was won by the party-list Framtid for Finnmark (English: Future For Finnmark), most often called the Aune list, after its leader Anders Aune, the winner of the seat. The list was mainly a protest movement, protesting against what many felt was a lack of effort by politicians to solve the many problems pertaining to Finnmark.
