Northumbria University Press is the university press of Northumbria University. It is based in Newcastle and publish a diverse range of books, including publications on language, photography, biography, travel and music.

Regional issues and concerns (the "regional question") dealing with Northumberland remain a focus for the Press. The Press published the autobiography of Sir Alan Beith, Alan Beith: A View from the North, which was launched at the Liberal Democrats party conference in September 2008.

Other titles include Fishing and Folk: Life and Dialect on the North Sea Coast, combining dialect vocabulary and literature to explain the North Sea coast and its social development, the final book in Bill Griffiths "Wor Language" trilogy, and an illustrated book on the band Franz Ferdinand (An A-Z of Franz Ferdinand).
