North TransPennine is one of the three rail services provided by First TransPennine Express running through Northern England. It runs from Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the north east to Liverpool Lime Street in the west via York, Leeds and Manchester with branches to Middlesbrough, Scarborough, Hull and Manchester Airport. It provides the most important intercity rail link across the north, with the core route between Leeds City and Manchester Piccadilly.
