Euryapteryx is an extinct genus of moa of the Emeidae family, consisting of the following species : the North Island Broad-billed Moa, also called Coastal Moa (E. curtus), Stout Legged Moa (E. geranoides), Turkey Moa or Greater Broad-billed Moa, and the South Island Broad-billed Moa.

The North Island Broad-billed Moa was common on the North Island of New Zealand, where it fed on twigs, leaves, fruit and seeds. It lived more in the open than other moas. A scientist once described the turkey moa as being 'four times the size of a chicken and probably ten times as dumb'.
