Norman "Norm" Pope was a rugby league player in the Australian competition, the New South Wales Rugby League(NSWRL).

Pope played in the halves at the Eastern Suburbs club in the years 1927-31. In the 1931 season Pope captained the side that lost to South Sydney in the 1931 Grand Final. Pope later moved to the St George club taking on a captain-coach role.

In 1931 Pope represented New South Wales in an interstate match against Queensland and was also selected to play for Australia.
