Norden is a village within the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, in Greater Manchester, England. It is situated on the western edge of the town of Rochdale.
As a result of changes to boundaries, Norden ward is divided between Heywood and Middleton and Rochdale constituencies, represented in Parliament by Jim Dobbin (of the Labour Party) and Paul Rowen (of the Liberal Democrats), respectively.1 The majority of the ward's population is in Heywood and Middleton constituency, into which the remainder of the ward will be transferred for the next general election.2
The main road through the village is the A680 Edenfield Road, which runs from Rochdale town centre to the village of Edenfield in Lancashire.
Norden is the home of Norden Cricket Club, who play in the Central Lancashire League.
Taylor Park is a outlying area of Norden.
