Nomi (能美市 Nomi-shi?) is a city located in Ishikawa, Japan.

As of January 1, 2005 population data, the city has an estimated population of 47,826 and a density of 570 persons per km². The total area is 83.85 km².

The city was founded on February 1, 2005 from the merger of the towns of Neagari, Tatsunokuchi, and Terai from Nomi District. Hideki Matsui, a current player for the New York Yankees, was born and raised in Neagari, and museum dedicated to him is located in Yamaguchi-machi.
