Noblesville High School is a public high school in Noblesville, Indiana, United States. Opened in 1996, the school is the third for the city. The first two are still in use today for the City with the last high school becoming Noblesville Middle School. The school has approximately 2,275 students in grades 9 to 12. The 2007-2008 school year will mark the first year that Noblesville will only support grades 10 to 12 because of the Noblesville Freshman Campus that will be open in 2007. The Campus will be called the "Noblesville High School Freshman Campus". Grades 10-12 will be considered "Noblesville High School Main Campus". The school day goes from 7:35 in the morning until 2:35 in the afternoon.

Athletics

Noblesville was an original member of the Indiana High School Athletic Association, one of fifteen schools listed as charter members in the IHSAA Handbook of 1928.

Nobleseville has won seven state championships:1

  • Girls Basketball: 1986-87
  • Boys Golf: 1997-98, 1998-99
  • Girls Golf: 1986-87, 1987-88
  • Boys Track: 1912-13
  • Girls Soccer: 1990-91

On May 31st, 2008 the men's 3200m relay team comprised of Juniors Josh Snyder, Jake Waterman, Blake Dircksen and Senior Colin Dunlap won the event with a school-record time of 7:52.69. The relay also set a Hoosier Crossroads Conference Record in the 3200m relay earlier in the season.

School Spirit

Noblesville High School is renowned around the state for their impressive student turnout at school sporting events. For the 2007-2008 basketball season, Noblesville's student section "Dark Side of Da Mill" was the recipient of the Spirit Award, an award given out annually to the area school with the most spirit.
