Contemporary stalwarts of Vocal music include Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna, Nedunuri Krishnamurthy, Srirangam Gopalaratnam, Sarangapani and Nookala Chinna Satyanarayana. Yella Venkatesara Rao (Mridangam), Srinivas (Mandolin) have earned fame.
