Micrographia is a medical term used to describe abnormally small, cramped handwriting and/or the progression to continually smaller handwriting. This is one of the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Small writing, often in block lettering, is also seen from people with mathematical proof or drafting background and is a result of training and habit. Therefore, small writing may only be an indicator of Parkinsons Disease if the writing is cramped or difficult to decipher.
