Marco Antônio de Oliveira Maciel (born Recife, 21 July 1940) is a Brazilian politician. He is a lawyer and a law school professor. He was a founder of the centre-right PFL party, former ARENA and was twice elected vice-president in the same ticket as center-left social-democratic President Fernando Henrique Cardoso, in 1994 and 1998. He served the entire term of office, from 1 January 1995 to 1 January 2003.

Before vice presidency he was chairman of the Chamber of Deputies from 1977 to 1979 and Governor of his home state, Pernambuco, between 1979 and 1982. He is currently a senator of Pernambuco.
