Lilyturf is a name used in the United States to refer to a group of low growing, grass like perennials that are often used in landscaping for ground cover. The name may be applied to species of both the genusLiriope, and to the related genus Ophiopogon. Cultivated members of the latter genus may also be called mondo grass.
Giant lilyturf is known as both Liriope gigantea and Ophiopogon jaburan.
