Liège (French; Walloon: Lidje; Dutch: Luik; German: Lüttich) is the easternmost province of the Walloon Region, in Belgium. It is predominantly French speaking, with a German speaking minority living along the eastern border with Germany and Luxembourg. It borders on (clockwise from the North) the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and in Belgium the provinces of Luxembourg, Namur, Walloon Brabant (Wallonia), and those of Flemish Brabant and Limburg (Flanders). Its capital is Liège. It has an area of 3,844 km² which is divided into four administrative districts (arrondissements in French) containing 84 municipalities.
