Lama is located at 21°46′30″N 92°12′00″E / 21.775, 92.2 . It has 13754 units of house hold and total area 671.84 km².

Demographics

As of 1991 Bangladesh censusGR error: 1=Bangladeh, Lama has a population of 64717. Males constitute are 53.94% of the population, and females 46.06%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 33732. Lama has an average literacy rate of 21.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [1]
