Ladnu is a city and a municipality in Nagaur district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
It offers some of the best jain temples around the globe. It is also famous for Terapanth Vishva Bharati Institution (founded by Acharya Tulsi in 1970). Jainism has a long history in Ladnun. Some of its temples - in all there are five digambara and two shvetambara ones - are said to date back to the tenth century; their superstructures, however are of later centuries. Ladnu has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 71%, and female literacy is 49%. In Ladnu, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
