Cecil Kinette "Ki" Adams, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, is an Associate Professor in Music Education and Organ at Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a founding member of Festival 500.

Mr. Adams is Music Director at St. Thomas' Anglican Church in St. John's, Newfoundland and has recently retired after 14 years as Associate Conductor and Accompanist of Shallaway (formerly the Newfoundland Symphony Youth Choir).

He is on the national Board of Directors of the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors and is guest conductor for the 2007 Festival 500 in western Newfoundland.
