KSKJ-CA and KSKP-CA are low-power Class A television stations in Van Nuys and Oxnard, California , broadcasting to their respective communities in analog on UHF channels 45 and 25 as independent stations . Founded May 29 , 1993 and August 23 , 1989 , the stations are owned by Capital Broadcasting Corporation. The stations are affiliated with CoLours TV .
KSKJ-CA originally broadcast on channel 38, but moved to channel 45 to make room for KPXN-DT in Los Angeles , which operates on digital channel 38. As a result, co-channel interference occurs with KLAU-LP , also broadcasting on channel 45, in some areas.
